
Nicole started playing rugby in 2003 at UC Santa Barbara where she earned a BA in global and international studies then a teaching credential from Cal Poly SLO near her hometown of Templeton, CA. She moved to Oregon in 2009 where she taught high school social studies in St. Paul and played for the Portland Women's Rugby Club serving as captain, vice-president, and president. While in Oregon Nicole began coaching rugby first at the high school-level in Newberg then at the state-level coaching Oregon's U-17 Girls All Star Team and later the U-19 team. In 2013 she moved to New Mexico where she served as assistant coach to the New Mexico Tech women's and men's teams while earning an MA in political science from the University of New Mexico. Nicole moved to Orono in early 2016 to pursue a PhD in forest resource economics and policy. She served as assistant coach to the UMaine women's rugby team in the spring of 2017 and since this past spring is currently our new head coach.

Brianna Woodworth, MS, ATC, EMTB, completed her undergraduate education in Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Maine Orono in 2003. She held concentrations in Athletic Training and Business Administration. Upon graduation she served as athletic trainer to Poland Regional High School for 4 years. She is currently contracted by the New Balance Student Recreation Center to provide athletic training services to University of Maine Club and Intramural athletes. Brianna has worked with the NSCRO Select 7's Collegiate for two years in Philadelphia. She also works with the Midwest Thunderbird 15's U24 team. She has done a tour in New York at CanAm and this summer will be touring Ireland in August.
Dale started his rugby career playing two years of high school rugby for Pelican U-19 Team winning the Florida State Championship his senior year as well as making the Florida U-20 all-star team. Dale played his college rugby at the University of West Florida where he won 4 division, 3 conference, and 1 regional championships, finishing in the top 30 in the country in either NSCRO or DII National Rankings. During his five years of playing at UWF he coached the forwards for 4 years and made the Deep South Rugby All-Team his last 3 years. After graduating Dale became the head coach for UWF for his 2 years in Grad School. This fall will be Dale's third season coaching Men's rugby at the University of Maine helping them to win 2 Division and 1 Conference Championship finishing in the top 30 in NSCRO in his first two seasons.
